Tell 'Em Joe Sent You

If you are ever in the Chicago area and are looking for a great pizza place, Aurelio's is it.  You can't go to any Aurelio's location though, because they are not all created equal.  I am fortunate enough to have grown up where the original (and best) location is.  So if you can go to the one in Homewood, you should do that.  Otherwise, I've hear the south loop location is good too.  But, if you go to the Homewood one you can see little baby Noelle's picture hanging up!

I just recently found out about putting giardiniera on pizza.  If you aren't from Chicago and have no idea what giardiniera is, it's a pickled hot pepper/vegetable condiment commonly put on Italian Beef sandwiches.  Whether you know what it is or not, you should try it on your pizza.  It's delish!

Grades:

Megan - A+ (Nothing beats Aurelio's.)

Noelle - A+ (Noelle loves going to "the pizza restaurant" as she calls it.  She knows exactly where her picture is hanging and will happily show anyone who is interested.  She ate a lot of pizza and was introduced to the arcade area where she won some fabulous prizes.  Her love of Aurelio's is already huge.)
