When You're Old

Tonight after dropping Noelle off for a sleepover at her grandma's house, we decided to go out to eat.  There was a restaurant right by her house that looked good, so we headed in.  I was confused when we sat down and the waitress asked if we were just having dinner or if we were staying the night (people stay out later than dinner???).  While we were sitting and enjoying our food there was a band setting up and many people were coming in who were obviously there to "stay for the night."  So, I felt really old, but at least the food was good.

Chicken Nachos and Steak Tacos
Black Sheep
Orland Park, IL

This restaurant has an interesting concept.  You order with the waitress and she brings your drinks, but then when your food is ready a pager goes off and you go pick it up from a counter.  We decided to pick a couple things and share because the menu looked good and two things is better than one, right?  Both of the dishes we ordered were delicious and I also had a caramel apple moscow mule that was amazing.  I'd go back.

Grades:

Megan - A (The nachos had lots of toppings and cheese which made them perfect.  The steak on the tacos was braised in beer which gave it a different, delicious flavor that we both really enjoyed.)

Noelle - Noelle was having fun at grandma's house and wasn't at dinner with us.
